These are truly worth every penny; I'm so glad I didn't get something cheaper. Although you can't see much of them under a bed skirt, it's much nicer seeing wood than plastic.

I bought these to raise my kitchen table. I was using the standard six inch black ones, but they looked rather gaudy on a wooden table. The mahogany lifters are shorter and match a lot better. They can also stack one on top of the other somehow, which is a bonus. If you're considering purchasing, go ahead.
P.S. They smell a little bad out of the box, but that's fine.

I bought these for my daughter's room, but they would not stay put, the bed fell a few times and scared her and the wood cracked and broke. These are sturdier than those plastic ones (those broke). She is very thin, was not jumping on the bed or anything like that. But you cannot move the matress too much to make the bed, unstable. They are in the garbage.

I bought these to lift my family room sofa, which was too low for comfort. It is a large sofa, and supports multiple large people when in use. We haven't heard a crack or squeak from these blocks, very impressive for the weight that is piled on them. Highly recommended.

I have been using this product over a year now. I don't have any problem with stability. Besides they look better than plastic lifters. It just takes two people to place a bed proprly on the four pieces of wood.
